Someone Stole My Country

I recently was sitting in the Atlanta International Airport with a (2) hour lay-over. I had some time to just think and look back on my own life. I had read the newspaper and was tired of surfing the net, when a couple of our “warriors” passed by and sat down a few rows away from me.

This kind of choked me up to the point that I think I had a tear in my eyes. Theses “warriors” in their fatigue uniforms looked like “little boys”. Hell, half of them didn’t even have to shave. But, the look in their eyes told a story and that prompted me to sit down and put my thoughts on paper.

Here was the “little boy” from next door that you never thought was a “trained” specialist in warfare, walked into dark unknown buildings, knowing that the enemy was just waiting for him so he could “kill” him in the name of some “kockamaney” idea of being brainwashed into “killing all Christians”.

This little guy from down the street went to Iraq or Afghanistan or Somalia or wherever he was sent to give all of those displaying “hate, fear and terror” the opportunity to do that without fear of any reprisal. What a country. This young “warrior” also gave the twisted minds of the media a chance to sell space by sensationalizing views of what they think sells print and NOT giving the American people the real story.

I asked one of these kids, “What are we doing over there to make those folks like Americans”? The answer was not what I expected, nor would I read it in the New York Times or any other bottom line media enterprise. The answer was this. “Those people in Iraq want America to succeed, because they want their children to be able to go to America”. Put that in your pipe you “mis-informed journalists, politicians, bureaucrats and any other idiot” trying to hypnotize, US, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Since America declared its independence this country has always been the “hope of the world” as a place to provide the dream. Things have not changed from over (200) years ago. America’s young men and women have always answered the call to defend our liberties all over the world and the pride that we all have in our hearts for today’s hero’s is no less as fierce as that which was evident during both world wars.

Now, lets look at reality. Here we are a land of sincere, hard working honest and God fearing people. I read on the Internet about the words “etched in concrete” THAT are embedded into the entrance into our supreme court. “In God We Trust” and there is also an image of “Moses with the ten commandments”.

I also read about a message that sits on top of the Lincoln Memorial that talks about our founding as a land based on Christian Ideals. None of the activists can scale the Memorial to deface the message and I would venture to say, none of them even know about the contents.

Latest surveys show that over 87% of the American people want the flag displayed in schools and at all public events. The survey also emphasized that “In God We Trust” MUST remain on our currency. Hell, no one can trust the “fun house” in Washington. We all know the secret to winning an election. Just surround yourself with enough losers and you become a winner. Tell them what they want to hear, tell them what you told them and finally tell them what you want to tell them. “Paralysis from analysis”.

So, with those numbers, IF I WERE PRESIDENT, I would follow the lead of the folks in Australia. They simply told EVERYONE, English is our spoken language, you are free to enjoy our country. BUT, if there is anything that you don’t like or cannot learn our language, you are FREE TO LEAVE.

IF I WERE PRESIDENT, I would let ALL of the media know, without restricting the “freedom of speech” that “behind the scenes” advertising dollars from big corporations that enjoy the “coziness” that they have with both the Democrats and Republicans will be scrutinized unless they direct some of their dollars to those media outlets that “let the American People” know the truth.

Call it “arm twisting, extortion” or whatever. But the “monkey house” in Washington has been “twisting arms” for hundreds of years. What else is different? I would also bring the leaders of our educational institutions into one big “backyard barbecue” and let them know that their “alumni dollars’ would be VERY highly scrutinized by the IRS as that tool has been used appropriately in the past to acquire results.

Now, for those activists that seem to crawl out of the cracks like “cockroaches” with their message of “hate America” I would, as your President arrange for an all expense paid trip to the vacation spot of their choice. To, the land of “no free speech” and a chance to “enlist” into the army of hate that they so willingly want to support.

If, I could, I would restore the MANDATORY taking off of your hat (males) at all public events. I would make it a law that when the national anthem is played, EVERYONE either salutes the flag or places their hand across their heart, just as our warriors do every morning and every night living thousands of miles from the comfort of their home. Everyone would have to stand during the playing of our national anthem. The only ones that cold sit would be “old folks” and “disabled veterans”. Hell, most of them that I know would stand out of “patriotism”.

Now for this religious extremism that is “rampant” because it is very easy under our constitution to express “freedom of speech”. My old accountant once said ” If someone wants to make an ass out of themselves, DON”T stop them.”

As our youngsters are taught the “real history” of our country, the pledge is restored into our schools and the national anthem resounds through ALL the halls of public gatherings then and ONLY then will sensibility survive. No longer will the media feast on “negatism” but by DEMAND have to report on the emergence of national pride.

Yes, someone STOLE MY COUNTRY, and I want it back. I don’t care how many people don’t like my country, I just want those that love it to stand up and let the world know “what a wonderful country the USA is”.

Democracy and Public Opinion

Since democracy has been defined as, “the Government of the people, by the people and for the people,” the crucial role of public opinion cannot be underestimated. It is the public which gives its views about a government by exercising its franchise in the ballot box.

In theory yes, a democracy is a form of Government in which the people have a say in the day-to-day functioning of the Government through the representatives it sends to the Parliament. The very existence of such a Government is well-dependent on the people. So much so good, but, for the people to have some views on subjects of national importance, it is imperative that the public be of some standard of intelligence and knowledge.

Public opinion plays a decisive role in making or breaking a government but the public whose opinion is so very important for the very government but the public whose opinion is so very important for the very existence of the government has got to be of some level so as to be able to hold the reins of the government, to the advantage of the nation. If this is not so, as we see in India, public opinion can be held for a price, it can be bought for a gift, then does such a public opinion have any value or relevance? If a purchased public opinion is to form a government then, Only God may bless or save the fate of the country. It is also quite appropriately said that, a people get the Government they deserve. This is but natural in a democracy for, the people vote to power, types of their own liking and standards, so if the public is uneducated, ignorant and fickle, what result oriented Government can it provide to the country. In such a case, public opinion cannot be really trusted, for, its opinions have been bought by the politicians or political parties for a price. An opinion so made can hardly be expected to last for long, for, it was never a well thought of opinion, it was just a purchased one. Moreover, such an opinion has also the inherent danger of being re-purchased by a higher bidder.

Besides being bought, an uneducated public can also be very easily misguided or, emotionally worked up, in order to get votes at the ballot box. Now, votes got in this way have to be maintained also in the same way, and so this business of give and take goes on endlessly, and the poor illiterate public is taken for a ride. They vote for people for their face value, and taking their speeches as gospel truth but, as soon as the politicians take command of their gains, the voters are clearly and unfortunately forgotten. Thus, the politician only exploits the ignorant and uneducated voters, and make them act as per their own ends. This sort of a picture of democracy is so truly prevalent in India because, our masses are ignorant, uneducated and emotional. They get carried away by the high sounding words, patriotic speeches, and they achieve no goals. The picture is such that, no matter who wins in the fray, the poor common man, who is the backbone of the democracy, gets noting in the bargain. He continues to remain where he was, just to be satisfied with imaginary power in the set up of the Government, and to be remembered only after five years when, once again he will be the all important hand in the formation of the new Government. He will once again see rosy pictures of his future, and the politicians of the highest price will keep ruling. This misrule of our Indian democracy continues to persist because the backbone is very weak being misappropriated. How can a strong body stand straight and firm on a weak backbone?

However, today, after fifty years of misrule, the Indian electorate has somehow become a little alert and has started realizing that, he has been used and exploited by the politican for his own ends, but, since he is uneducated, the poor voter does not understand how he can get out of this rut of being misused. He does understand the misdeeds of the people in power, but he still does not have the insight of how to remedy the present ills of the country. The voter has at last realized that, he has been used as a pawn all these years, and has got no gain in the bargain. At times now, the common man also raises a voice but, again his being uneducated becomes a handicap, for, he usually raises a stir on irrelevant issues which just get brushed aside. He fights for non-issues, this again just because he does not know what to raise a stir for, and how to get about the tackling of issues like inefficiency corruption and other misdeeds of political big wigs.
In such a situation, it can be really said that, a democracy gets converted into a mobocracy, and, public opinion, the backbone of the democracy a mere sham. Getting public opinion has just become as style and eyewash for, what the politicians have been doing for so many years is only imposing there own opinion on the illiterate public.

For awareness and arousal of public opinion, the Television and the press can play a very dominant role. They can help in building public opinion and explaining problems to the masses. However, in India, the politician has managed to get such a tight grip on the media also that this is also mostly tainted, unbelievable and even wrong. With such an aura how will we ever have the correct public opinion built up, on any issue of national importance. This is just propped up by speeches of politicians and tainted media, and, when this works upon the uneducated masses, a messy decoction is the result, as is so evident in India.

Public opinion which is the very essence of a democracy is a hollow farce made up by tales workings on the illiterate masses. Thus, it is very clear that, democracy is meant for a highly educated country where the masses can understand, think, and view all issues and then give their consent. Besides, a democracy is meant for a highly disciplined country where, the masses know that, all rules and laws are meant to be followed and strictly obeyed. A country where the general public is highly illiterate indisciplined, and in a permanent readiness to break any law made, is, absolutely unfit for a democracy. The opinion of such a public can be of no use for the improvement and progress of the country. To cap it all, where, the highest rung of the ladder, the politician is corrupt and unmeaning, the face of the democracy is destroyed and public opinion is not more than just the view of a few selfish politicians, who only work up sentiments and get the desired opinion.

Thus, we can see that, India is the most unfit country for a democratic set up, and its public hardly fit enough to have any opinion. Above all, the politician here is the most corrupt class, and has intentionally kept the masses uneducated for five decades as, he can play merry hell only when, and till the masses are unaware. The democracy of India is in shambles as, the backbone is too weak to hold the system its full lease. To summarise, the democracy, in India, the twins of democracy and public opinion are both dead, or at least taking their life breaths from some internal strengths.

The Health Care Crisis

Everywhere we turn today we are bombarded with news about the current health care crisis in the United States. We are inundated with the negative aspects of our medical system on TV, the radio and newspapers. In Michael Moore’s docudrama “Sicko” our health care system is portrayed as a beast worse than the antichrist. Now I’ll be the first to admit that there are problems with our medical system. Let me highlight a couple. The US hospital system is ranked 37th in the world by the World Health Organization (WHO). More than half of the prescription drugs consumed in the world are consumed in the US. Hospitals are the third leading cause of death in the US.

With these and other facts taken into consideration I believe that we as individuals have the ability and the responsibility to correct the true crisis in America today which is self induced illness caused by the foods (I use the term loosely) we eat. We have turned over responsibility for our health to the doctors, pharmaceutical companies, and food manufacturers who are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We have followed them blindly into the abyss that is the health care crisis today. The good news is that there is a way out of the abyss, read on.

Let’s begin where the food begins. In the Garden of Eden God gave us fruit to eat which grew on trees and took nutrients from the dirt which God made us. Today, thanks to pollution, chemical fertilization, pesticides and poor crop rotation the dirt has been depleted of their nutrients. As a mater of fact the soil in the United States only has 15% of the nutrients it had in 1948. Farmers fertilize the crops with high nitrogen man made fertilizers that produce big beautiful plants, fruits and vegetables that have little if any nutritional value. For example a woman could get her daily requirement of vitamin A by eating two peaches in 1951, today she would have to eat 53.

Moving right along, let’s talk about harvest. Prior to the industrial revolution there where farms spread all across our nation and most everyone consumed fresh fruits and vegetables that where grown locally. Today there are fewer farms and the majority of fruits and vegetables are shipped great distances to be sold. This is the reason that farmers green harvest their crops, ensuring they don’t bruise during the shipping process. It also reduces the nutrients that make it into the food. Tomatoes are a good example; they are picked green so and when they arrive at the market they are sprayed with gas to turn them red. Tomatoes get no nutrients until the final stage of ripening.

Next stop: the supermarket. Some of the crops make it to the market without further depletion of their nutrients but many go through a processing plant where they are further stripped of nutrients. They are cooked, canned, frozen, salted, preserved

Then between the farm and the supermarket the little bit of nutritional value that the crops had are cooked or processed out of them to make them more convenient for us to prepare and eat.

That covers what has been taken out of our food let’s talk about what has been added to our food. Chemicals like MSG monosodium glutamate whose only function is to increase the sensitivity of our taste buds with the side effect of causing our pancreas to inject large quantities of insulin into our system simulating a sugar high that ends an hour later causing us to feel hungry again hence the old saying about being hungry an hour later after eating Chinese food. Then there are nitrites and nitrates, preservatives like BHT, all things that our bodies do not need and would normally get rid of but in today’s society we consume so much of the artificial and so little of the natural that our bodies stop working the way God designed them to work and we become ill and turn to the medical system for help.

Let me begin this subject by saying that if you ever see me laying on the road after being hit by a car please call an ambulance and have them take me to the emergency room. The US has the best trauma care in the world and I have a degree in Emergency Medical Technology so I know from first hand experence from both sides of the screening room. The weakness in the medical system comes in the area of wellness. We do not really have a health care system, we have a sick care system. My wife had to go to the ER a couple of years ago because of dehydration. When the nurse checking her in she asked if she was taking any prescription drugs and got prepared to type the onslaught, my wife told him no and he did a double take then told her that that was unusual. Four years ago I was 45 years old and taking Nexum for acid reflux and Celabrex for arthritis and I thought I was pretty healthy. What I have discovered is that I was pretty average and living in a box with a lot of other people. A box in which people believed that as you age you would get sick and need to have drugs prescribed by doctors to keep you functioning. I saw a commercial the other day that exemplifies that box. It was a commercial for Nexum and the guy said “When I take Nexum I can eat the food I love.” The food I love was killing me and taking Nexum just masked the effect it did not remove it. Today like my wife I take no prescription drugs and have not taken any for over two years.

The health care industry needs to stop focusing on cures and start focusing on prevention.

Are Women To Rule The Human Race By Controlling Sex And Money?

Women are appointed to be the temptress of the human race. Women hold the key to most crimes in the world. Are women to blame? Or are men just weaklings?

Women hold the purse strings and control your sex life. You say not? What do you think might happen if men decide where and how to spend the money and where to have their sexual desires satisfied?

Eighty percent or more of the entire jail population are locked up because of these two women dominated commodities, sex and money. Women rule both. The main crimes are easily money theft, sexual murder and assault, never mind rape.

If women ruled our planet would the control of these commodities be shared more equitably and the abuse be less?

Don’t call for my castration please; I am merely focusing opinion at that which is generally unspoken but widely acknowledged amongst society at large, and I dare say if it is not, let’s wake up. Having admitted my allegiance to this thought, how can I possibly love women? Problem is, I like most men am what God created me to be, the hunter.

Are women truly from Venus?

Here are some general facts (or opinions) about women. Many men will deny their agreement in public; but in their inner bosom there is no denial. After all the fact are there for all to see.

• Gentlemen prefer blondes

• Brunettes start blonde jokes to discredit blonds, because gentlemen prefer blondes.

• Women travel 10 km to save $0.50 on a product advertised as being sold at a special price, but it well costs $5.00 in gasoline to get there.

• Women will buy something not because they need it, but because it is a bargain.

• Women suffragettes burnt their bra because they wanted to be treated like men.

• Women believe that the world would be a better place if they were the rulers of this planet. (I think they should be given the opportunity , men have cocked it up good and proper, can’t get any worse.)

• Make love not war is a better motto than kill for oil.

• Women control about 80% of the spending power of a household, if not more. Thus they control the bulk of the general public’s spend.

• Women to a large extent wear slacks, jeans and the like. Are they aiming to proof a point? (like who wears the pants) I’m sure there will be lots of denials. Generally I’d say men prefer minni-skirts.

• Women dress sexily to show off their bodies, when men take notice they get reported for sexual harassment.

• Woman was the original temptress of the world, (remember the apple?) Nothing has changed today. Men get tempted and condemned for it.

• Women allow their husbands to be the men of the house as long as it is with their approval, and preferably not to frequently.

• Women spend what men work for. (Ooops, that’s a little controversial)

• Women control the greatest crime causing commodities in the world, money and sex, but men commit the most crimes to beget these commodities.

If a census were to be taken at the country’s jails I have no doubt that 80% or more of the inmates’ crimes were perpetrated in a quest to control or to get one of the two women controlled peripherals. women or money. Possibly even both of the enumerated factors.

A weapon, which is often used by women in defence of being called the weaker sex, is the observation that Our Lord first created men and than noticed some serious flaws, so to perfect his creation He made women. In today world, I think some women truly believe this.

There are no doubt many more general observations about women one could make, but this suffices, I have made the point, which demonstrates the general consensus amongst men when they talk away from women ears.

Most men will quietly admit to most of the women fads as enumerated. I wonder how many men will have the guts to write and agree with me. I’ve given the address at the foot of the article. Come on, don’t leave me in this alone, all men and women have opinions on this subject.

No wonder some great author said that women are aliens from Venus.

The other side of the coin

• Women must often have double the qualification for the same job as men and then they still get paid less because they are female. Is this just? Are they short of some sort of inherent ability although they have more academic qualifications? Or are men hell bent on keeping them bare foot and pregnant in the kitchen?

• Women are more loyal employees than men.

• Women can multi task better then men.

• Women are great to hand the screaming baby too.

• Women are more loyal than men.

• Women cope better with a crisis than men.

There is a under current amongst women, complaining that nowadays men have the headaches, what happened? Let me enlighten the women who believe they are under supplied.

Men are now 50% housewife since women are in full time employ. Women please take note now that you are in full day employ and expect the husbands to do 50% of the motherly duties, nothing against that, but please, we must change nappies and get up at 2 am to warm the babies bottle etc., Why should we not be entitled to the occasional head ache?

In fact, the whole of creation is upside down, look at your teenage daughter, at the age of 14 or 15 possibly even younger they are chasing boys. Should not the men be the hunter? I think so. Look at nature the way God created it. Males are the hunters, but note, only successful if the women gives permission. Women in control.

What happened to the “Barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen” brigade of women? What has changed? I’ll tell you what has changed, greed, we all want bigger homes, better cars etc. It’s the keeping up with the Joneses syndrome which is the problem. to achieve this wives have had to become economically active. I’m not saying I liked women better when barefoot etc, no, I’m asking a question, who has the answer?

Men, your world is changing, women are taking over, and you are not about to stop the avalanche. In fact they will more than likely shortly rule America. Who cares? They can not do any worse then men. Or can they? Is Venus in the same state of chaos as planet earth?

Here is some tangible proof that women are widely recognised as the temptresses of the world as ever they were.

If women are not, why does a manufacturer of great Italian vehicles have to have a scantily clothed, sexy women present at their exhibit at the Earls Court Motor Show, right on the rotating platform? Because women are a star attraction, pretty, shapely women attract men, and the advertiser hopes that on the off chance they may even notice the car. Women, remain ever the temptress, and this fact is well exploited by the emperors of commerce. She tempts men, she draws them closer to come and look. (At what?)

I’ve said enough, or just about. Men, do you know that the greatest slice of internet money is taken home by women? ( have to get my wife operative at this). I wonder why, if in commerce they are remunerated at a lesser level for similar professions? It appears that they are taking over. The internet is the world’s largest market place. It is the only place I know where you often do not know with whom you are transacting. Does this indicate that women are discriminated against because of the misnomer, “weaker sex?”

Internet seems the only real equitable place we do not know or determine if the GURU is a women, if it is a women, she earns the same and more than the male, could the reason be that here gender is obscured? Shoo, makes you think, doesn’t it?

Temptation from the Garden of Eden. Till today the world upholds women as the ultimate temptress hence the ever present female torso largely in various states of undress in advertising. It is held that a half naked feminine torso if shaped according to the fads of the male world will attract attention, and it does. Some of the most obscure products use women in their advertising to get their product noticed. Women have a multiplicity of uses. Are men just as versatile?

For men, the danger of being swamped by women lurks around every corner, or is it a danger, is it not perhaps good fortune lurking? I can name a few women who were colossus in this world during the immediate past decades, like British Maggie or Jewish Golda. I am not very fond of the worlds idle parasites who ride the shu shu train of wealth like the Dutch Queen and the British Queen etc.
What could the poor of the world do with their wealth and income? Costs me money for no return.

Are men about to be relieved of all the responsibilities of this planet? Women are very capable of earning big money. If women as a species suddenly wake up and employ their full persuasive powers in every sense of the word, they will rule, the purse and the bedroom. Men in powerful positions demand sex, if women were there they would extract favours for sex, which is worse? Thing are looking bleak for the strongest sex, soon to be the weakest.

Unopposed i am sure, the women of the world are each in their own right and personal domain, minister of finance, food supplies and sexual pleasure.

Men, I ask, do we still have a roll to play? Women no longer need us, sex is also pleasurably achievable without a male around, in fact many women will claim greater erotic pleasure contributing this to mechanical bedroom equipment. Are we the stronger sex? May be physically, but mentally? We are lorded over by women in all the important facets of life, certainly the two deemed most important. Women rule supreme. I say thank heaven they do not seem to have cottoned on the this fact as yet. However, it is a fact of life. Sex and money are the women domains.

Now then, if this be so they must shoulder the blame for modern society’s promiscuity and money greed, for both of these society steal murder and plunder. Does it mean that men have been weaklings since Eve tempted Adam?

Are women running our lives or are women running out of control?

I’d like a few opinions, I sure as hell don’t know where I am on or off with this women issue. Do we respect the species who clearly hold the key to our survival? Do we stand by and let women rule the world? Come on, let me have some input, don’t let the world believe that only the author thinks like this.

I have left a facility for sharing your view at the foot of the page.

I look forward to a few answers, hopefully dispersed by some good humour. No antagonism please, women live on this planet also, not only on Venus. We are not looking to make war with women, I’d rather make love, yes with women.

Here are a few internet facts on women.

Keyword search on Women, Guess what was tops? Naked women 35000 hits a day

Keyword search on Men, Guess what was tops here? It was naked men, but significantly less in number at 12000 per day.

Next I typed in Women Money I got 178 daily searches on this

Then I typed in Men Money and got 15 daily searches. An interesting bit of information is the keyword phrase Women Wrestle Men for Money, 165000 pages, check it on Google.

So 3 the question remain unanswered

• Will this be a better world if the women rule?

• Are women who definitely rule money and sex responsible for the worlds promiscuity?

• Would the jails be only quarter as full if it was not women being in control of sex and money?

I would like to hear from those of you who have been to the proverbial womens haven Venus is better place than planet earth.

Diamonds Make The World Go Round

Diamonds do really make the world go round, as the old saying says. When on a construction site all is on pause until the man with the diamond drill bit saws through that steel beam or whatever, nothing is going anywhere. This amazing creation from the furnaces of hell inside earth, or the lightning strikes of a benevolent and loving God. We prefer that last part much better. and if so, God surely loves parts of Australia, and a vast swath of northern Canada, up where the diminishing polar bears roam.

So as the ice melts, and the real bears starve, Canada has proudly placed a baby polar bear on the butt of each diamond, from us to you. ‘Tis true. What else can we do? What is different with the newly found diamond mines in north Canada is that God, or the fiery heat of hellish inner earth brought these diamonds to the surface in a smaller cluster size than those of Africa. There will likely be no Hope diamond from Canada, but really, who cares? For you and I and the world, the freakish fact that was soon realized about the new diamonds from Canada.

That is, when the Canadian diamonds are dug out, they tend to fall apart into almost ring size perfection. And this cuts down waste and valuable time of diamond cutters who do their best to cut down a too large diamond and break it correctly. Many a slip betwix the blade and the diamond has occurred, raising the net costs of diamonds to us. And what is more, the reducing supply of world diamonds had led to much illicit blood diamond trade from Angola, where each area warlord has laid land mines to protect his diamond turf, causing mutilation and death to farmers and travelers.

Until humanity and civilized order prevail, those are what are called blood diamonds, and men in alley ways in Antwerp still exchange diamonds for guns and blood. Not so in Australia or Canada. In the frozen rocky northern Canada, any skulker would stand out, and Sergeant Preston of the Mounties would soon have him cornered, faithful sled dogs chewing at his legs.We can’t remember who the police of Australia, but he would be just as efficient and also get his skulking man. Down there, it would be in fiery heat, so no sled dogs, perhaps a kangaroo.

Kangaroos apparently box with their feet. So kit bag, billabong, off to jail we’ll go waltzing, Matilda. Sled dogs and a boomerang will do it right for us. Not a land mine in the land. Nicer diamonds, no blood. Just two bad boomers in jail, one too hot, one too cold. We make him run to the outhouse when it hits 50 below. No land mines, but there is still an occasional live polar bear out there. And they are quite hungry. Now that would be nature’s way of revenge about blood diamonds. Send that blood dictator Mugabe guy up here, he could feed a mother polar bear and her cub for a week. Finally serve the dear mother earth in a worthy way.

But a final comment on these new Canadian smaller less expensive diamonds more easily on the net. I have four grown daughters, each of whom took the usual, figure skating, horse back riding, Irish or Scottish folk dance. And we spent many hours in stores for fancy costumes, which usually involved sequins and fancy elegance. Either mom would have, or not, the time to add extras to the costume before the big performance. And what occurs to me was that was twenty years too late to now, where net sites for diamonds now have sections on “loose diamonds”.

Loose diamonds are those too small for rings or other jewelry, other than as backdrop for a central larger diamond, gemstone, ruby or a family heirloom. But for a family now, it would be affordable to be that person with a small bag of loose diamonds, so sew on, or have the shop sew in, these “sequins” to your angels elegant winning show piece to her winning ways. And that thought makes me smile, how decency and humanity can prevail. The size of the diamond determines it’s price per ounce, and the little ones are on the bargain table on many sites.

Not on the downtown jewelry store counter, not yet by a far measure. But you can sit back at home, skip the traffic accident, make a cup of tea. Settle down and gaze around on your net. You can fairly bet, are trusted polar bear and kangaroo diamonds, at all range of lower prices. Bid low, they are for you.

Diamond Minds, Metro Europe – Libya Wants In!

When we see and hear leaders of Europe on a British television, it is refreshing to hear such diamond thinking. What they say has great and good events coming at us, even through all the gloom of the moment. They speak to a delegate from Russia, and from Serbia, and we hear of their amazing brilliant thinking. Their minds are of peace and so beyond those of the warrior man from Russia and the man from Serbia. The man from Russia, we know, is there as ethnic bully big brother Slav to protest that Kosovo wants to be an independent state, as the population is 90 percent Albanian, not Serb.

As with elsewhere we can think of, Serbia insists that Kosovo is their core and heart, and their heart will not beat without it. And we can recall that a decade ago tanks from Russia did arrive in Belgrade, and we all bombed around them, so to speak, until, mercifully they drove back to Russia. That was when Ivan the Bear was weak and poor. Now his vaults are spilling surplus from the oil and gas to Europe, he is expanding, getting more angry.

And, as always Emperor Fudd of America, blasting his huge gun at everything in the forest except Bugs bin Laffin, wants to set missile sites closer to Moscow. The sites in Turkey are much closer to Iran, so why this provocation towards Russia? Uncle Sam the lesser says to point at way far away at Iran, you understand, Ivan. Ivan does understand all too well. And the vacuous lump of coal in the brain of our leader, who seems to take us for the fools he shows himself to be, as leads us closer to a new unneeded, not affordable fire again. Compared to his diamond of a father, who helped bring down that wall, and ensured peace on earth in his time,a lump of coal followed a diamond.

But give the devil his due. With all that the horror George Bush has inflamed in the mid east, we should all notice how in one way, he stumbled over another terrorist problem he did not yet have in his sights. But one brilliant mind sensed he soon would, and that was a mortal enemy until recently of the west. And I refer to how the world did get at least this one benefit out of the hell of Iraq. It is fact that once long ago, Ronald Reagan had amazed us with a rocket attack on the personal home of the leader of Libya. It killed several of the leaders of the family, and terror actions easily linked to Libya began to go down.

To me, Ronald Reagan’s proudest hour, when he amazed us all with his God like strike at this man linked to recent horrible attacks at a nightclub in Berlin. If Germany not dare slap, America could, would, and did speak of the sanctity of life and those who mock it. And every American, and many others, whatever their unrest at other Reagan policies, stood tall with Ron. As Reagan looked into the eyes of the camera, and right into the eyes of that man who had missed this missile attack by a hair, and you knew would be watching for Reagan’s words. He had just felt his sword. And when Ronnie said “You can run, but you can’t hide”, we all knew we had Clint Eastwood after a bad guy, and it felt good to be on the side of right.

And now, while George Bush has just cost the 4,000th American life, as well as the looting and loss to humanity of precious artifacts of the earliest civilization, why not go home. This British independent panel of leaders of the mid east has generally agreed that American safety decreases by the hour. Mission accomplished, go home. When weapons of mass destruction were no longer the point, at least there was was satisfying scene of Saddam down in his hole in the ground, pistol in his lap, surrendering quietly, to extend his grand life just that little bit longer, I wondered what that leader of Libya was thinking. A brilliant mind, long so full of anger at the west, saw himself soon, coming out of some hole he had better plan better than Saddam.

And within weeks, Libya had announced that it was denouncing all weapons of mass destruction, and that it dismantling a modest nuclear project it had been working on. It wanted to join with the west in building to the future. American oil giants, including one who had quietly been in talks about their oil rights in Libya, long put on hold, could re apply for exploration. Such discussions have begun. So this is a positive, and leads back to our point.

Those European gentlemen at that table in Europe, startled the Serb and frightened Ivan the bear when they saw not only Serbia and Kosovo inside the EU, but all those last bits down there of Europe, on their way to Istanbul. And they caused much amazement when they said they could see, a greater wide Europe, including north Africa as with Rome, sea to sea to sea. And this forward thinking is led in part by the fact the the one rotating presidency of Europe this year is the first time held by the first of old Yugoslavia to meet standards of civilization and rule of law to join Europe.

And what about when the rotating presidency of Europe requires a first leader from north Africa, their turn, usually one they would really want in, such as one with massive unexplored oil reserves. So who suspects no longer skulking, but emperor clad, a Libyan Caesar for one whole new year, the President for the Year of Europe. How the mind reels, to imagine that terrorist for decades, so eager to live, could be Charlemagne and Caesar and Churchill for a year. He could wear robes like Caesar, but behave godly, or love of Allah, like Aristotle. And we see that as diamond thinking, and we saw it’s creation from a hellish lump of coal. Allah, and God, can be merciful. Now President Duck, quack back home. Mission accomplished. There is no Sumerian artifact intact, that world is on fire for years, go home.

The President of Metro Europe has the authority of the voices of this wonderful new democracy. Did you know that Libya has the greatest Roman palaces outside Rome, as it was the winter spa for the Emperor of Rome. Who, long before Caesar, was a man born in Libya, and liked to feel rich at home, even his winter retreat. It could make a great winter office spa for those sniffling bureaucrats in Brussels. That that should help that ball along. The cameras are now showing these amazing palaces and great halls, as the rusty door of freedom creaks over. No more Attila, no hat of Napoleon. All hail democratic Caesar, who only gets to speak what we all agree!

Diamonds, Gemstones, Lumps of Coal – Another Strike at the Dragon’s Soul

This news to China is another diamond of the moral lessons from God or pure living, or Buddha himself. The way we live, is the way we die. Buddha had a following not because what he said, but how he lived such a holy serene life as no other holy man of his time. And while this diamond of a gentle man lived a simple life, and like Socrates in the west, merely answer questions with a question, and go inside his bliss.

Which what another diamond of a human being has just done, and informed the world, and his host China, he may miss th parade. For he fears for his health if in his race he proceeds, for he is long distance runner, for which lung power much needs. Of all of the athletes, the long race will be won, by he who runs fastest, and sucks air through his lungs.

However, in Beijing, each visit, he fears for his life. For the air is so filthy many have masks on their faces as day seems like twilight. And for this champion to win, he must train there with might, to know the terrain, every up and down site. And by the time of the races, and parades and speeches now complete; he is not sure if he would have lungs left to stand on his feet.

So on Olympics and torches like the Disney Parade, with lights and sights to marvel, all through each day. Are we to use candles, or masks and a lamp, to watch each runner still standing cough over that ramp? When the best mice from heaven start leaving the boat, it is time for a make over, or swamp in the moat. The Forbidden Palace is bloated, and very confused. How to get rich, be Communist, not confused by the rules.

Poor Communist China, on it’s way to get rich, still keeps controls like a female with puppies, our snarling great bitch. Take Tibet, and Sudan for oil. Tibetans who make trouble could be shipped to Darfur, in exchange for that oil. Gone Tibetan, such trouble, now peopled with Hans. Hans is also Chinese, as German, but who could so tell? 1939 soldiers named Hans in helmets marched from Paris to Moscow. Times change, people earn to love and forgive. French now hug Germans: how grown up is that?

Except up in Tibet. Here, the 2008 Hans are more golden and they come from the coast. And they take over Tibet, each Han soldier can boast. Bump baton upon skull of Tibetan in robes. Only way to teach them, our great culture here in droves.

Meanwhile, back in Beijing, they wonder if they were to close down the coal burning factories around Beijing as long as guests were in town. It could be as in America in that horrible three days after 9/11 when all air traffic was shut down. The skies of America became blue. Not every other coal burning factory and all our exhaust SUV could make the sky gray. We may not have noticed, but science sure did. Meanwhile a billion Chinese want to fly to Rome for the fall.

And that kerosine driven airplane creates a fake heavenly sky as it leaves a jet trail wover a clear blue sky. That serene implication of that white cloud is a lie. It is kerosine spittle, that when it rains, falls on you and I. So I think science would agree with this stink: we might be more health by far, if they left the toilets open to fall. At least good for the gardens, we can handle crap as we get it at work. But if they could find a way to put a diaper on the rear of that jet engine air bus, they could stop it from wet potties, of kerosine onto us.

Take the new jet super trains that, like veins through our bodies, encircle the earth. Get the coal dust technology information to all. And until jets can get off kerosine, take the clean train, and marvel at the Great Wall of China, under blue skies, on your way to Rome. So fascinating, as with the French jet on rails, keep your eye on the castle in the distance.

For if you look down, you are soon sick and dizzy. You are flying. At ground level. Those whizzing bushes by the track give you more information than you need, for an enjoyable quick tram trip from London to Delhi, and then on to Seattle and New York. But if you do happen to walk outside in the air, wash your hair, take care, the airplanes have been out there. Not a diamond among them, flying kerosine lumps of coal, being rude on us down there.

Raindrops of kerosine are falling on my head, but I’m not dead, so what do I care? Nobodies there, so keep on rolling through the sky, until we all die, those coal burning lamps are coming back, Jack, you go with the flow, what do you know, it’s a blazing good show, the hotter it gets the less that you know. And us red ants seek black ants where ever they go. Unforgiving Gods or Allahs brought to us in anger and hate. If only, if only, or is hope way too late? No. God is not finished with one life human yet.

Until we can be wise like Buddha, whose wise followers were surely those three, who allowed God to allow them to be a the birth of Christ Jesus. Buddha’s last day among life, was in his mid eighties, for those days a great age. He and his loved ones all enjoyed a simple meal, they meditated together until Buddha was gone. His meditation took him to Heaven, Nirvana, as they say. In bliss and harmony, golden rules in full play.

The Real Reasons the “Mortgage Meltdown” is Happening

Today, I read an article in the paper that stated HUD was going to implement new rules that would protect home owners from the big bad, predatory lenders. I have been seeing this kind of drivel in the papers and on the evening news for a while now, and I have had enough.

Every good story needs a hero and a villain, and in this case mortgage lenders and mortgage brokers are being made out to be evil, predatory, foul and untrustworthy. Now that is not to say that there are not bad people in the lending business, because every industry has their share of pirates and crooks. People who conduct their business in any other fashion than honorably definitely need to be driven out of the business at a minimum. But, I can attest to my experience over the past 17 years, that the people I have worked with and know in the financial services are good, honest hard working people who truly care about their clients and work very hard to help them.

So, rather than be complacent and not speak the truth, which most people don’t want to hear, and the major media don’t want to discuss. I would like to share what I believe to be the REAL reasons of the so called housing crisis. Stand back, because here it comes, (this has been brewing for a while)

Lack of Jobs, Loss of industry, ridiculous taxes on businesses and payroll, insane gas prices, a lack of domestic oil production and refining capacity because of weird and wacky environmentalism, food costs going through the roof, inflation numbers that are cooked to look good, credit card debts that are out of control, credit card payments that were doubled in 2007 by the governments own rules, a banking industry that could care less about the damage it creates; much less be held accountable for it, repeated Fed rate increases to stop inflation (which according to them wasn’t really happening but could happen), Alan Greenspan recommending adjustable rate mortgages be offered by mortgage lenders in greater numbers, recommending that lenders offer the chance to own a home to people with damaged credit, a mindset that the American public is too dumb and cannot make good decisions about their own finances and therefore, should not be held responsible for any of their decisions, and last but not least…

Drum roll please….. a government that is so out of touch with the people, it is utterly ridiculous to think they can solve the problem when they have actually created it. The national motto is “In God We Trust” but no matter how pious you are, the Almighty didn’t cause this mess and chances are, he won’t be the one to fix it. Rather, we are somehow supposed to make the leap, once again, that the government can stop their own carnage and solve our problem(s). The truth is that they ARE the problem or at least the largest part of it.

The image of the Department of Housing and Urban Development riding in on a white steed, frantically waving additional regulations to save the day, is enough to make a person wretch. Call me silly, but to me, it is tantamount to letting a convicted thief come in to your home and charge you to explain how HE would rip you off under the guise of helping you to protect yourself. He still got your cash, the question is how you feel about it once it is done. Closing the barn door AFTER the horse is out is not exactly foresight.

The truth is, we need to return to a common sense approach to our money, our government, and taxes. My grandfather lived to the great old age of 99, and was the wisest person I have ever met. He once told me as he sat in his favorite rocking chair, “You know, common sense just ain’t all that common these days.”

I wonder what he would think about what’s going on. Somehow, I think he would tell us to get back to basics. Pay cash, don’t borrow, get the government out of your pocket and solve your own problems. It is a mistake to think the government is going to actually solve a problem. If you look at most of our problems as a nation, education, retirement programs, medicare to name a few; it is because the government is involved that you actually have the problem. “We the People” are the solution.

The first thing we need to do is buy back our country. We don’t actually own the companies that made us a great nation anymore. Most of us might own shares in mutual funds or 401(k) plans where we don’t actually have voting rights. But we are not active participants in our own economy other than to borrow, borrow, borrow some more. So, decisions on manufacturing operations that affect real Americans and their livelihoods are based on getting the highest level of return. Whether or not it is destroying American families and this country is irrelevant. It is all about the almighty dollar and not the Almighty, in whom we have placed our trust to protect us. We need to protect us from ourselves. The bottom line is that we created a great country once, and I believe we can do it again and we better get started pronto.

Fixing the Public School System

America’s school system is in a crisis. More children are illiterate, more children are dropping out, and more children are acting out. Oprah has talked about it, as well as John Stossel. Each person has a solution to this complex problem, but none have been tested in the real world. I think it’s time that the government takes a step back and start running schools like they did 50 years ago.

If you go back to the 50’s and 60’s schools were a much different place. America was considered the best place in the world to attend school. There were no school shootings. Children graduated and could read perfectly fine. Our school system was so great, that college educations were not needed to get a good job. Something drastic has changed since then. Both politicians and the media seem to be oblivious to it.

The Bible & God

As movements in America become more progressive, the American public school system was shaped from a Christian institution, into an Atheist institution. Children used to start the day with the Lord’s Prayer and the National Anthem. Today they’re lucky to even get our anthem played. Children were taught ideals of creationism and God, without interference from the science community.

As the American people, we need to demand more from our public school system. We need to stop this movement to remove the Christian values from our government. Our founding fathers fought hard to create this country and we are abandoning their ideals when we stop a child from praying in school. We need the Bible and God back in our public school system.

Politics And The Economy

The most crucial question in the minds of many Americans and people around the world today is: Who will be the Democratic Nominee for President of the United States this election year? Will it be Illinois Senator Obama, or will it be New York Senator and former First Lady Clinton? Whosoever it is, history is about to be made as Americans are gearing up to elect either the first woman President, or the first African American President of the United States of America.

Let there be no misunderstanding, the Democratic ticket will be Obama-Clinton, or Clinton-Obama. The Democratic Political Strategists would be silly and simply idiotic not to have this ticket to defeat the smooth, seasoned and polished Senator John McCain this November. Let us hope that these two Candidates (Obama-Clinton) will put their egos, self interests or personal aggrandizement aside and embrace what seemed to be a well needed shift in the political culture and socialization in the United States. The mandate of the people has spoken across this Nation. There is no doubt that the American people are ready to embrace change. What is most noble of our democracy is the fact that America’s laws and its people are an evolutionary process and one that is base on necessity. We are always trying to be better. What a country! With a Constitution just over 200 years old, the American people have demonstrated that the color of a man’s skin or one’s gender is of no more significance. What a breath of fresh air to see this young and brilliant African American and woman running for the White House. However, the question still remains, will it happen?

Let us not get carried away by celebrating any victory for the Democrats too fast. We still have those closet racists who still believe in this 21st Century that one’s pigmentation is a factor. How they will vote, we do not know. Then again, we have the black pessimists who still utter words like: “America is not ready for a black President.” How silly. We have the Hispanics who can be very unpredictable. We have the older voters who are set in their ways and generally make up the majority of our voting population. However, with a surge of young voters, will it make a difference in November? Can Obama-Clinton or Clinton-Obama pull it off this fall?

One thing for sure, the American people are galvanized by this shaky economy, anti war sentiments in Iraq, lack of healthcare, high gas prices at the pump, etc. People are losing their homes and jobs across this Nation in the millions. Those that seek the American dream through diligence are fed up and lost faith in their government. We have seen our noble Veterans begging in the streets and middle class jobs outsourced overseas. It is time to take care of the American people. Let us take care of home first then help where we can in the world after. We cannot afford to boast in our arrogance that we are the greatest Nation on the planet, yet we cannot provide basic healthcare and decent jobs to our citizens. We cannot afford to cast a blind eye to the world however. Let me remind those with short term memories what took place in Germany many years ago. We turned a blind eye to some disgruntled and ignorant folks in Germany at that time called the Brown Shirts. They became a formidable force known as the Nazis under Adolph Hitler that led to the destruction of over 5 million of our Jewish brothers and sisters lives. So while we should take care of America first, we must keep an eye on the world so that something as horrible as this will not repeat itself anywhere again on this planet.

As for Senator John McCain, the Republican Nominee for President of the United States, his service to this Great Republic is first class, invaluable and second to none. I applaud him wholeheartedly for his service to this Nation. I admire his impeccable character and the fact that he is not the conventional politician. He is a “straight shooter.” Senator McCain will say the same thing to people in 10 different rooms. You can rest assured that what he says in Room number 1 will be consistent throughout Room number 10. I like that about him. No one can ever question the veracity of Senator McCain’s words. Undoubtedly, he is the best qualified for Commander in Chief. However, timing might be a factor for this great American Hero. Senator McCain will have to unequivocally convince the American people that he will revitalize the economy, provide healthcare, deal with this immigration issue, create jobs and restore the middle class in order to win this election…straight up. While many Americans are concern about the war on terror and those that want to kill us for our freedom, the American people are crying out for jobs, healthcare, and to save their homes. Owning a home is the core tenet of the American dream. We must restore the American people and promulgate laws that prohibit corrupt banks, mortgage companies, brokers, etc., from taking the American people for a ride.

Come this November, invoke your constitutional rights and vote. Remember that many of your ancestors died for that privilege. Go into that polling booth and vote your conscience. One thing for sure, whether it be Obama, McCain or Clinton, the American people are ready to sacrifice and work with our duly elected President. May God continue to bless the United States of America.
